A farewell to James Sanford

For more than a decade James Sanford has given Kalamazoo an inside peak about the week’s movie releases as featured in the Kalamazoo Gazette. His astute criticisms have been a go-to destination before heading out to the local cineplex.

Not only has Sanford played a leading role in regional movie-going, he has for the last six years been a member of Kalamazoo-based Crawspace Eviction improv comedy troupe. It is prehaps on-stage where Sanford embraced a truly unique voice while delighting audiences with superb improvisation.

Sadly, Sanford is moving on to new adventures in Martha’s Vineyard.  He spoke to the NCH Friday on his last day at the Gazette. We at the NCH wish him all the best.
