April Morris, coordinator of the Kalamashoegazer in Kalamazoo, Mich., says is can’t wait for this year’s festival. The shoegaze and dream pop scene is a pretty tight knit group and many of the bands on this year’s playbill have performed with each other. It’s really a chance for friends to catch-up and share new music.
Set to take place at the Strutt in downtown Kalamazoo, Kalamashoegazer III will bring bands from New York, Minnesota, Delaware, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and from right here in Michigan.

I had a blast at the festival. I had seen Brief Candles before, and was blown away by them. I’ve been following SVI since Alcian Blue broke up at the Walls of Soundfest. Cool post. I am new to wordpress.
