The Whole Art Theatre in downtown Kalamazoo is set to premier Evil Dead: the Musical. Opening Friday at the Epic Center, Evil Dead is a bloody gore fest according to lead actor Adam Carter who plays Ash Williams.
Based on Sam Raimi’s cult classic films of the 1980’s, Evil Dead is about five hormonal college students who discover a 13th century book of the dead and accidentally awaken an ancient slumbering evil. Plus, there is singing and dancing!
Carter stopped by the Nonchalant Café Hour to discuss his portrayal of the cult classic hero Ash Williams and the gory details behind the deadly musical. Oh and watch out for the trees, trust me.
