WMU Theatre Department’s Eurydice Explores Sarah Ruhl’s Retelling in the Intimate York Space

Shake off your preconceived ideas about the Greek myths you learned about in grade school. WMU  Theatre Department is presenting Sarah Ruhl’s unique retelling of Eurydice that will make you laugh and see the Underworld from a whole new perspective.

Director of Eurydice, Mark Liermann, spoke to the Nonchalant Café Hour about the production and about working in the intimate York Arena space at the University Theatre Complex where theatre goers can be as close to the actors as the actors are to their characters, creating a truly unique theatre experience.
